Plan your transport

Ask each department involved about its remaining step and name the person who gives the final confirmation of readiness for dispatch. We do not need a complete production plan. If the release is postponed, send us the new status with date and affected packages; we adjust collection and delivery. Your requested delivery date remains separate and is agreed again based on the new readiness date.

What lies between production and collection

Typical steps are final inspection, cleaning or preservation, documentation, packing and internal shipping release. Each step can slip. Scheduling collection for the end of production risks a wasted trip; stating readiness for dispatch gives you a reliable date.

Using provisional dates sensibly

A provisional date with an expected confirmation date is enough to prepare a quotation and reserve the time window. Once confirmed, the collection is firmly agreed. This gains you planning time without committing to an unsecured day.

What matters

  • Record the last steps before packing
  • Name the person responsible for readiness for dispatch
  • State the delivery request separately from readiness for collection
