A machine vision head often combines camera, lens, lighting and mounting bracket in one sensitive assembly. We plan the transport for exactly the configuration that is ready for dispatch at your site – fully assembled or split into separate packages. A model number rarely shows how far optics, connectors or lighting arms protrude beyond the housing. Ask your technical contact to confirm these points. We compare them with packed dimensions, the route and the handover points and take on the handling instructions that matter during loading. The quotation lists the unit and every assigned accessory package, so the recipient can check the delivery against the list at handover. Plan setup and alignment at the destination as a separate appointment with your team or integrator.

Plan your transport

Is the camera model number enough for a quotation?

It identifies the device but does not describe the shipment. For a reliable quotation we need the current configuration, the number and dimensions of packages and the existing packaging. Brackets and lighting in particular often make the package much larger than the basic camera.

When a laser tracker moves to another site, the sensor head, tripod, reflectors and computer usually travel in several cases. We transport the complete measurement setup as one consignment and coordinate the handover with your metrology team. Please tell us the full project scope, not just the main instrument.

We transport your control module in exactly the scope your engineering team has confirmed, from the supplier or warehouse to the plant. Stating packed dimensions instead of device dimensions

The dimensions on the data sheet are not the dimensions of the transport crate. Load space, handling equipment and price depend on the outer dimensions of the finished package – including case, pallet, handles and overhangs. With measured packed dimensions you receive a quotation from us that still fits on collection day.
