Inspection and measuring fixtures are usually one-off builds with base plate, holders and custom inserts – without them, quality inspection stops. We transport your fixtures between plants, suppliers and measuring rooms and hand them over complete to the department that uses them.

Ask the fixture builder for outer dimensions and weight in the actual packaging. Assign removable inserts via the fixture number so that nothing is missing at the destination. Name the receiving area, for example quality assurance, rather than just the plant address. Setup and calibration at the inspection station are planned by the user; we take their timing into account when planning arrival.

List the base body and every holder travelling with it in one overview with package number and fixture number. The recipient can then assign the delivered scope directly to the inspection task and the right workstation.

Transporting high-value mould inserts for sampling

A mould insert is not the whole injection mould – but it is often the most expensive and most urgent part of a sampling appointment. We transport inserts, change parts and fixtures from the toolmaker to the sampling site and back. For an accurate quotation we need the real package dimensions and weights, even if purchasing only uses one tool number.

Paired bearings, lapped fitting parts or a complete assembly kit only have value together – if one part is missing, assembly stops. We transport matched component sets as one consignment, even if the components come from different areas of your plant and are only brought together for shipping.

Stating packed dimensions instead of device dimensions

The dimensions on the data sheet are not the dimensions of the transport crate. Load space, handling equipment and price depend on the outer dimensions of the finished package – including case, pallet, handles and overhangs. With measured packed dimensions you receive a quotation from us that still fits on collection day.
