When combining several sets from different departments, preserve their internal allocation. A named recipient should know whether the entire delivery goes to one receiving point or supplies several inspection stations in the destination plant.

How should I describe an incomplete gauge block set?

Describe the contents actually present and record missing positions in your inventory. The standard list for a complete set does not replace this information. Handover should refer to the contents expressly identified as being dispatched.

Establish whether the shipment contains one device or a working measurement setup with several associated cases.
