When several identical devices go to different plants, labs or customers, the allocation decides whether the handover runs smoothly. We deliver each unit to the right recipient – based on a shipping overview that clearly links device ID, destination and package, regardless of how similar the packaging looks.

Create the overview by destination, device ID and package and assign accessories to the same destination as the device. Each recipient confirms their receiving contact and preferred time window. If the distribution changes, update the allocation before collection and inform the preparing department so that labels and overview match. From this we plan a multi-drop route or separate deliveries.

How do I record a unit whose destination is still open?

Mark the destination as open and name the project contact who will decide. Device and package IDs stay unchanged. As soon as the destination is fixed, add the receiving contact and time window – we then include the unit in the planning.

A device is only ready for use with its cables, adapters, operating parts and holders – and these small items are the easiest to lose in transport or to end up with the wrong device. We transport device and accessories as assigned packages under one shared ID so that everything reaches the right recipient at the destination.
