Newly packed, removed from a line or assembled for an inspection: the condition of your unit determines how it must be loaded and secured. A short, factual condition description with current photos makes the enquiry unambiguous and at the same time documents the starting condition at handover.

How up to date should the photos for the enquiry be?

They should show the condition in which the unit will be collected. If it has since been modified or packed differently, add new photos and a short note on the change. That way photos, goods description and actual handover condition match.
