Location and handover point
When planning around a terminal, identify its role: collection point, intermediate handover or final destination. Add a local telephone number for the Estonian recipient and use the correct locality spelling. A business outside the named city needs its own access instructions. If several consignments should arrive together, identify the related items and state whether partial handovers are acceptable to the recipient.
Planning example for this task
Bring purchasing and engineering together in one item list: component identifier, released condition, packaging and order reference. Matched parts must remain identifiable even when they originate from different sites.
Where does the requested leg end?
Separate a possible terminal point from the final address. For each handover, identify who releases and receives the goods and who arranges the next move. A port name alone does not define a transport route.
What matters
- Define the terminal’s role
- Add final address and local telephone number
- Identify items belonging together
- Record component and order reference for each package
- Distinguish engineering release from collection readiness
- Clarify receiving authority and cover for each site
Sources and their scope
Sources describe countries or individual locations. They do not confirm a transport service or an available date. Access and execution must be agreed for the actual job.
