First-off samples and variants from machining are often one-offs that took real effort – and the customer is waiting for exactly these parts for a project meeting. We bring your machined samples directly from production to the customer and keep sample status, variants and packages clearly assigned from collection to handover.

Have production confirm which machining steps are complete and whether further parts will follow. If several variants are sent for selection, their markings should remain recognisable after unpacking – a short allocation list is enough. We carry this list into the transport documents. Receipt of the packages at the customer is not a technical approval; the assessment is carried out separately by the specialist department.

How do I plan if a sample comes straight from production?

Ask for a realistic completion time for the last step and the packing time that follows – the end of machining is not yet readiness for collection. Name a person who confirms the ready-to-ship condition; we set the collection date accordingly.

A mould insert is not the whole injection mould – but it is often the most expensive and most urgent part of a sampling appointment. We transport inserts, change parts and fixtures from the toolmaker to the sampling site and back. For an accurate quotation we need the real package dimensions and weights, even if purchasing only uses one tool number.

Moving gauge and gauge block sets between sites

A gauge block or inspection gauge set consists of many small, valuable elements that only serve their purpose when complete. We transport your sets in their existing boxes and inserts between plants, measuring rooms and calibration labs. To keep the handover traceable, state the number and labelling of the containers rather than just “accessories”.

A machine vision head often combines camera, lens, lighting and mounting bracket in one sensitive assembly. We plan the transport for exactly the configuration that is ready for dispatch at your site – fully assembled or split into separate packages.
