Location and handover point
Belgium has Dutch-, French- and German-speaking communities. Copy the delivery address supplied by the recipient instead of translating individual address elements yourself. For several branches in Brussels, Flanders or Wallonia, list each unloading point with its own reference. Distinguish any terminal appointment from the later receiving appointment and identify the local person responsible for each handover.
Planning example for this task
Bring purchasing and engineering together in one item list: component identifier, released condition, packaging and order reference. Matched parts must remain identifiable even when they originate from different sites.
Confirm the address before copying a reference
Use the confirmed address of the actual recipient. Check town, postcode and goods entrance together; an order or billing address is usable only when goods are received there.
What matters
- Use the recipient’s address spelling
- Identify the branch and entrance gate
- Provide a reference for each unloading point
- Record component and order reference for each package
- Distinguish engineering release from collection readiness
- Clarify receiving authority and cover for each site
Sources and their scope
Sources describe countries or individual locations. They do not confirm a transport service or an available date. Access and execution must be agreed for the actual job.
